Nothing clever

I don’t know about you all, but I struggle to come up with a post title.  So today, I’m just going with it… Any thoughts or suggestions out there on how to title your blog posts?

So, I was really excited because I bought a Silhouette SD.  I got a bonus on March 3rd, and since we’ve decided not to go on vacation, I splurged and ordered a Silhouette as I thought it would be a nice compliment to my Big Shot.  Tonight, we tried to install it.  I tried at first with no luck.  I brought in my much more tech savvy hubby who also struggled. Come to find out that it isn’t Windows 7 compatible… Um, HELLO?!!  As we read on one comment stream, I just bought a very expensive dust collector :(  I’m very sad about it.  We emailed QuickKutz, but I’m not optimistic.

Enough of my whining…. Sorry for that, but thank you for indulging me.  Today’s card uses Lawn Fawn’s Critters in the Burbs and was for the Sketch challenge at CPS.

I really like this sketch, but I’m not totally in love with my take on it.  I may try again.

How is your week going?  Any travel plans, I know that spring break is upon us, so I would love to hear about your trips that you have planned.  (I can live vicariously through my blogging buddies).

Have a blessed day

Fun layering, paper piecing and coloring on your card. Sorry to hear about your Silhouette too, I know I for one have some really fine taste in dust collectors as well.

I love this card!!! It's so springy. Love every detail :) As for spring break I have lots of local travel. My mom and sister are coming to visit so we'll be exploring San Francisco and the surrounding areas. I'll be posting pictures on my blog ;)

Your card is sooo super adorable...I just love scenery cards!

That stinks about your Silhouette! Shakin' my head that it wouldn't be compatible with Windows 7...what were they thinking?

Oh no!!! Technology can be your best friend or enemy. Right? What a great card though! Maybe you can use the rest of your bonus and get a new computer to use your machine! Hey it's an excuse.
