Lawn Fawn and Chameleon Partnerships

Hi Friends

I hope you are doing well.  I know my blog has been quiet lately. My computer crashed, so I've been handcuffed.

At any rate, Lawn Fawn is doing a fun partnership with Chameleon pens, so I'm sharing a Halloween project that I made for the collaboration. Here's what I created:

Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week--Let's Bokeh

Hi Friends

How is your week? I hope it's off to a great start.

Lawn Fawn Inspiration week is continuing with projects featuring Let's Bokeh (stamp set and dies).  You are going to love this set.  It's so versatile and fun.

Here's what I created:
I made this by watercoloring a panel, stamping with yeti Lawn Fawn ink using the various round stamps, and then die cutting with Stitched Rectangles.   Then I embossed the sentiment on velum and overlaid on the panel.
I used the Stitched Circles and the Let's Bokeh stamp set along with the Let's Bokeh in the Snow paper for this project.

Thanks for stopping by. Be sure to head to the Lawn Fawn blog to see other projects by the design team and for your chance to win prizes.

Hi Friends

I can't believe it, two posts in one day! Things are hopping here at the blog.

Lawnscaping is kicking off a new challenge today, and it's about one layered projects.  This is so tough for me, so it truly is a challenge. The perk is that these cards are much better for mailing, so it's worth the effort.

This challenge is sponsored by the fabulous Lawn Fawn, and I used one of the new releases for my project.  Here's what I created:

Thanks for stopping by. Be sure to head over to the Lawnscaping blog for more inspiration and details on entering the challenge. Sure hope you play along

Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week--Let's Bokeh in the Snow

Hi Friends

I hope you had a wonderful weekend. I can't believe it's Monday already.  I know I'm not alone in thinking that the weekends go by way too fast.  Our schedule has been so busy lately, I could really use some down time.

It's starting to look a lot like autumn in Indiana.  The leaves are showing hints of color, and a crispness in the air is being felt.  I love it.  It's my favorite time of year.

Anyway, today, for Lawn Fawn Inspiration week, we are featuring the new paper, Let's Bokeh in the Snow.  I think you are going to love this paper. It's so versatile and so pretty.

Here's what I created:

I used the Lawn Fawn Small Stitched SquaresMini Snowflakes, and Snowy Backdrops.

If you've not done so already, be sure to head over the Lawn Fawn blog to see the other projects from the design team and sign up for a chance at wonderful prizes.

Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week-Ready, Set, Snow

Hi Friends

Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week continues.  Today's feature is called "Ready, Set, Snow," and it has coordinating dies to go with the stamp set. AND, not only does it have coordinating dies, but it has a shaker add-on.

Now, my project today doesn't feature the snow globe or the shaker add on. I wanted to show that the images work well on their own without using he snow globe or a shaker.

Here's what I created:
While I didn't use the shaker add on, I did use the scalloped rectangle die, and the Snowy Backdrop die.

Thanks for stopping by. Hugs and blessings

Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week--Owen's ABC's

Hi Friends

Happy Weekend!  Do you have big plans for the weekend?  It's actually cold here, I cannot believe it's nearly July.  I took the dogs out and was cold.  But the day is still early, so I'm sure it will warm up.  I'm sure we're in for more rain.  We've gotten so much rain this year.

ANYWAY, you've not come here to read out weather in Indiana.  Lawn Fawn InspirationWeek continues.  Today, we feature projects using the new alphabet set, Owen's ABC's. This set is so fun, and comes with coordinating dies. It has 6 dies so that it is quicker to cut out whatever you are spelling with the alphabet.

Here's what I created using the set along with the new oval Lawn Cuts:
I also used the Year 3 sentiment and balloons from Party Animals.  And I stamped the alphabet with the new Lawn Fawn inks (Celery Stick, Peacock, and Juice Box).

Thanks for stopping by, hope you come back tomorrow as Lawn Fawn Inspiration week continues.

Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week-Let's Barbecue

Hi Friends
Wow, it's been a long time since I blogged.  I didn't realize I hadn't posted in so long.  I have had a busy June. I visited a dear friend in San Diego and had a wonderful trip.  Then I had another girls' weekend renting a cabin in Southern Indiana. I am very blessed to be able to be able to do such fun things.

It's time again for a Lawn Fawn Inspiration week.  Today, we are featuring the new stamp set (with coordinating Lawn Cuts), Let's Barbecue.  Here's what I came up with:

This set is perfect for making masculine cards.  I'd like to throw a barbecue and make some invites using this set.  I know most of us send e-vites which I love, but sometimes it's so fun to get a paper invitation.

If you haven't done so already, be sure to head over to the Lawn Fawn blog to see the amazing projects the rest of the design team has created

Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week (Puffly Clouds border & Rainbow Lawn Cuts)

Hi Friends

The fun of Lawn Fawn inspiration week continues today.  We are featuring projects today  that use some of the new Lawn Fawn Lawn Cuts, Puffy Clouds and Rainbow.

I decided to combine the two together since they seemed to go so well together.  Here's what I created:

I used the Puffy Cloud border to create a cloud background. I just cut out the border with scrap paper and used the scrap to overlay on the card base where I sponged the blue ink over the border to create the cloud/sky background.  I also repeatedly cut out the Thanks Lawn Cuts and layered them to add dimension (I should've photographed this from the side to see the dimension... next time!)

I hope you enjoy, and be sure to get to the Lawn Fawn Blog for a chance at prizes and to see the rest of the design team projects

Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week

Hi Friends

I hope you are enjoying Lawn Fawn inspiration week. The fun continues today with projects using the new Lawn Cuts, Milk Carton and Stitched borders.

I decided to go with a project using both new Lawn Cuts.  Here is what I created:

I decided to use some of the paper from Sweater Weather.  I love paper collections because it's so much easier to create coordinating projects.  So I used it to create the milk carton and a coordinating gift card.  The stitched borders add such a nice finishing touch to projects.  I hope you like!

Be sure to head to the Lawn Fawn Blog to see the rest of the design team projects.  And remember there are opportunities to win some prizes!

Lawnscaping Challenge

Hi Friends

Happy Monday!  I hope you enjoyed your weekend.  Mine was busy but very nice.  I planted pots for our deck, and having potted flowers to enjoy while hanging out on our deck always makes me happy.

A new Lawnscaping challenge starts today, and the challenge is to try a new technique.  The challenge is sponsored by Lawn Fawn.

I decided to try the inlaid die cutting technique. I see so many cute projects using this technique that I wanted to give it a go.  I always need Thank You cards, so I decided to use the Scripty Thanks Lawn Cuts from Lawn Fawn.

Be sure to check out the other projects by the Design Team, there are some great ideas for techniques to try.  Head over to the Lawnscaping blog to check them out and get the details for the challenge.
