Two Challenges in One card

Hi!

Happy Palm Sunday. We started the day at church and heard a wonderful message on the first Palm Sunday (Luke 19:24-44). It was such a wonderful message to hear and really made me think about how Jesus was welcomed into Jerusalem by the people. Then 5 short days later these same people would be calling for him to be crucified. I'm going to be thinking and praying a lot this week in preparation for Resurrection Sunday.
As for today's card, I combined both Beate's weekend sketch challenge (hosted by Mary Jo Albright this week) and Kristina Werner's color challenge. I decided the Upsy Daisy set needes some love, so I broke it out for the challenge. I hope you like it.
Supplies:
Stamps: SU Upsy Daisy. Paper: SU Baja Breeze, Designer paper, Shimmery white, Chocolate chip, Kiwi Kiss. Accessories: SU Kiwi Kiss ribbon, button and DMC floss.
Thanks for stopping by.

Beautiful card and thanks for sharing about your church service. I don't hear many people call Easter "Resurrection Sunday" but that is exactly what it is!

Cute card! Love that stamp! My husband is a pastor and he also talked at church on Sunday that the same people who praised Jesus on Sunday who crucify Him on Friday, and that we don't need to be like the people who say they love Him and don't show Him or act like they do! Because in a way that is crucifing Him too! Have a Blessed day!
