2 Challenge Card

Hi Friends

How are you surviving this winter storm? I know not everyone is affected by this, but a lot of us are. Our yard looks like we have about 3 inches of snow, but it’s all ice. Our poor dogs slip and slide when they go out.

Because we’ve been cooped up, I’ve had more time to do some card-making. This has been such a blessing. There was a time that I didn’t get too much time in the craft room, and I’m glad to have some time back there.

So for today’s card, I combined two challenges and actually got the idea from the ever so talented and sweet Karen. She combined two challenges, Jay Gee’s Nook inspirational challenge and Tiff’s challenge at iheartart.

Here’s what I came up with for these two challenges.

Let me tell you that I had so much fun making this card. I embossed, cut, distressed.

Thanks for stopping by.

Hugs and blessings,

Nette

Supplies:

Paper: Papertrey Ink

Ink: Memento, versamark, Ranger distress inks (Antique Linen and Tea Dye)

Stamps: W Plus 9, Hero Arts (sentiment)

Other: Detailed Embossing Powder (Stampendous), Corner Chomper (Making Memories---loving this so much), Lace (American Crafts), Twine (PTI), Rose (Prima)

Beautiful! Stay warm and don't slip. Our dogs are doing the same thing. We layed salt down but they won't walk over it. They are scared of the crunch sound it makes. LOL!

Such a pretty card! I didn't realize that Jay Gee's Nook had challenges! Thanks for the tip! I just ordered some Elzybells stamps from her and they are adorable! She was the only place I could find them. So sad that company closed just when I found them! Anyway, I just might enter this one. It looks really fun!

Glad you had some time in your craft room! I don't get in there as much as I like, but with weather like this out there, I should be able to manage some!

Oh gosh, could I possibly have used any more exclamation marks? Lol. Sorry about that.

Stay warm & safe! Hoping you keep your power with all that ice!

Wow! Just wow! So different from you but still so you! That is amazing that you can do that. Lovely card Lynnette, and happy to hear that someone's found some inspiration from my posting.
