Hi Friends
Happy Monday! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend.  Today, we kick off another Lawnscaping challenge!  And this one calls you to try a new technique.  So here’s your chance to try something you’ve been wanting to experiment with.
Our challenge is sponsored by Lawn Fawn!  So here’s a chance to win that set of stamps that’s been on your wish list.

Here’s the card I made for this challenge:

I used the Lawn Trimmings (Retro Cord)to make the trees.  I started by drawing a simple tree on paper and cutting it out.  Then I cut a bunch of strips of the Lawn trimmings.  Next, I started gluing the Lawn Trimmings to the tree base.  I went from the bottom up so that the top layers would overlap the lower layers.  For the main tree, I added gems and pearls to decorate.
I’m not going to lie to you, this project was messy. My hands were really glue filled.  The card is heavy. If I were to do it again, I’d only put one of the trees on the card to decrease some of the weight.
For the rest of the card, I used the Let It Snow stamp set, and Fa-la-la paper.  I also used the Peppermint Cord for the top of the card. It’s hard to see the snowflakes stamped in white on the blue, but they are there, next time I’d emboss. I also added some stickles to the snow but it’s not easily seen in the photo.
Thanks for stopping by, be sure to go to the Lawnscaping Blog for all the design team projects.  We can’t wait to see your projects and new techniques you try!
Hugs and blessings
Nette

Love that texture! You could do this for a display for Christmas too, like in a shadow box or something!
