Lawn Fawn Get Well Soon + Wish You Were Here, Too

Hi Friends

I hope you are enjoying the Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week.  Today, we are featuring projects using the Get Well Soon and Wish You Were Here, Too.  I have cards using both sets.

Get Well Soon is such a great set and such a bargain.  There are so many options out of this mini set.

For Wish You Were Here, Too, I did the no line Copic coloring which I am still working to master.  I also used Love you S’more and Happy Trails. When I saw Alaska, I immediately thought of camping and bears, so this is what I  came up with:

Happy Friday and Happy Marshmallows

Hi Friends!

Happy Friday! Yay for the weekend. Does anyone have any fun plans? We’re hoping for a laid back weekend to catch up on things around the house.

Today, I wanted to share a birthday card I made for a birthday part we attended last weekend.  Our pastor’s son, Jonathon, made up a comic book called the Happy Marshmallow. It just seemed fitting to make him a Happy Marshmallow birthday card.

I think he was more excited about the Star Wars Legos we got for him, but the card cracks me up.

I used the Lawn Fawn’s Love you S’more, Birthday Tags, and So Much to Say.  These were colored using my Prisma colored pencils.

Thanks for stopping by! Hugs and blessings

Lawnscaping Challenge

Hi Friends

I hope you all had a great weekend!  They always go by SO fast.  I could usually a few more days.  Last week, I was out of town and didn’t get home until late on Friday. I spent the weekend getting caught up on things around the house, but I still have more to do and could use some more sleep!

Enough of that, onto the new Lawnscaping challenge.  This challenge is all about Stars and Stripes, use stars, stripes or both on your projects.  This challenge is sponsored by Lawn Fawn.

Here’s what I came up with:

I used the die from Wish You Were Here and Milo’s ABCs. Here is how I made the card:

  • Adhere red strips of paper to a white panel of paper.
  • Die cut the white and red striped panel with USA
  • Die cut a small piece of blue paper
  • Emboss stars on blue panel, trim down and adhere to the USA
  • Stamp sentiment on velum and dry with heat gun
  • Adhere USA to velum
  • Attach velum panel to blue card base
  • Doodle faux stitching

Be sure to visit the Lawnscaping blog to see the design team inspiration and for details on how to participate.  We can’t wait to see what you come up with.
