Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week-Happy Mother’s Day

Hi Friends,

We’re continuing with Lawn Fawn Inspiration week. Today features projects using the Happy Mother’s Day and Year Three mini sets.

I decided to make some Mother’s Day cards (since it is coming up for those of us in the US):

I went with a  Clean and Simple design for both cards.  On the first card, I added some corner rounding to just add a little extra touch to the design, and the second card, I added three banners from Pink Lemonade and some Lawn Trimmings for some added punch.

Please visit the Lawn Fawn blog to see some of the design team creations. You are sure to be inspired, and there are prizes!!!

On a side note, please join with me in adding to your prayer list the people of West Texas.  What a terrible week this has been.  I continue to pray for the victims and the law enforcement in the Boston tragedy. I know that God is sovereign and in control, and I just pray that people will turn to Him.

Hugs and Blessings

Nette

such tragedies this week. Yes, I will continue to uplift those affected by these situations and pray for those helping them through it mentally, emotionally and physically! Darling cards.

Both of your cards are so pretty and clean. I like how you created banners on the 2nd card and think that sometimes simple is just perfect!

Hugs,
Jo

A lot of people think simple cards are easy to make. Not so. These cards are so pretty and you added just the right amount of interest to the card to delight the eye. Great job!
