Operation Safe and Sound
Hello Friends
Today, I’m participating in a really important effort to help out a crafty friend, Christy Reuling. Many of you know her already. She’s an amazing crafter, Lawnscaping design team member, writer, Mom, and just a sweet friend.
A couple of weeks ago her family came home from being out to find that their house hand been broken into. The thieves took anything of value and other things that had little cash value but loads of sentimental value. You know, things that cannot be replaced.
One of the great things about the paper crafting community is how it values around those in need to help each other. That’s what we’re trying to do with today’s post. All the details can be found either at the Lawnscaping blog or at A Blog Named Hero
A Paypal donation account has been set up (through Melissa) and can be found by clicking here.
Here’s a card in honor of Christy…
I used Lawn Fawn Bright Side Papers, Judy’s Blooms, Flutter By and Sophie’s Sentiments.
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you donate.

Lawnscaping Challenge
Welcome to another Lawnscaping challenge. This is another fun one that I know you will want to participate in. It’s a color splash challenge, so just a splash of color on top of your neutrals.
Lawn Fawn is our fabulous sponsor, giving the winner the stamp set of their choice.
I love these challenges. I decided to go a different direction than I usually do for color splash challenges. Here’s what I came up with:
I think it’s because I’m addicted to Lawn Fawn’s Sunny Skies. I just can’t quit using it. So I decided to do white/black, and my splash of color be yellow from the sun.
I hope you play along with this fun challenge.

Happy Birthday Taylor
Hi Friends
As you know I am a big fan of Taylored Expressions stamps.
Today is Taylor’s 30th birthday, so their team organized an effort to wish her a happy birthday. And this is what I came up with for her:
I hope that Taylor has a great 30th birthday!

Celebrate Everyday
I hope you enjoyed your weekend.
I had a nice weekend despite injuring my back and having trouble moving. It did allow me to do some crafting which I haven’t had a lot of time to do lately. Please note that in the coming days, you will see some similar looking cards because I did stamping, cutting and paper piecing on a comfortable couch (unlike my office chair which isn’t so comfy).
So with that, here’s todays’ card:
I used the new Lawn Fawn Sunny Skies set with some Echo Park paper. I love paper piecing with this set. And I thought googlie eyes would be a great touch on the smiling sun.
Thanks for stopping by today.
Hugs and blessings.

Happy Friday
Happy Friday, I’m so happy that the weekend is nearly starting. It’s been a crazy week, and I’m looking forward to a welcome break (even if I have to sneak in some work over the weekend).
We’re enjoying some lovely weather in Indianapolis. I was out walking my sweet Bella earlier, and it’s neighborhood garage sale day here. In addition to the garage sales, I saw a lemonade stand which made me think that it was a good time to post this card.
I made it for Lawn Fawn inspiration week, but it didn’t get posted. So in the spirit of lemonade stands, it’s getting some love at the blog today.
For the card base, I heat embossed the lemon image all over to make my own background, then I colored the pitcher and glass and cut them out. I took a white square, stamped the sentiment, and adhered the colored images to it. Then I tied some twine around it and added a pearl. Next I attached to the yellow square and drew dashes with my white Signo pen. This was attached to the base.
I did add some Glossy Accents to add dimension and a glass like appearance to the pitcher and glass.
I hope you like and are also having some nice summer weather of your own!

Wedding cards
Hi Friends
I hope you are having a great week.
Today, I thought I’d share some cards I made for my friend, Amber’s wedding. She asked me to make her wedding invitations, and it was such a privilege to for me. She had lace and burlap as part of her decorations, so we incorporated those into the invitations.
Here are some photos of what we came up with. We were really pleased with the end results
The wedding was 19 May which amazes me how quickly time flies. I thought I would go ahead and share the card I made for them. I kept with the burlap and lace theme (I have so much lace and twine left)
Their wedding ceremony was so beautiful and Christ centered. We were very blessed to be part of it and wish Amber and Alex Mendoza all the happiness in the world.
Hope you have a wonderful week! Hugs and blessings

Lawn Fawn + May Arts = Fun!
I know 2 posts in one day, it's not something I usually can do, but today I get to feature another creative post. This post also features Lawn Fawn stamps, but we are matching them up with May Arts ribbon.
May Arts was so generous and send the Lawn Fawn design team a bunch of ribbon to get creative with. This is what I came up with:
I wanted to make a little gift ensemble, and this is what I came up with. I used Lawn Fawn's Sophie's Sentiments with a bunch of May Arts ribbon.
Thanks for stopping by again today.

Lawnscaping
Hi Friends,
It’s time for another great Lawnscaping challenge to begin today. This one is near and dear to my heart, to used patterned paper. I think if you’ve visited my blog more than once, you know that I am a big fan of patterned paper.
It is sponsored by the fabulous online store, Simon Says stamp who offers up a $25 gift certificate for the winner to use in their store.
And here’s what I came up with for this challenge:
I had to use one of the newly released Lawn Fawn stamps, Sunny Skies paired with the Bright Sides paper (6X6 pack).
Be sure to head over the Lawnscaping blog to see the other projects from the design team. We can’t wait to see what you create!
Hugs and blessings,
Nette
