Lawn Fawn Into the Woods and So Thankful

HI Friends

Welcome to another day of Lawn Fawn Inspiration.  Be sure to visit the Lawn Fawn blog, the design team has created some amazing stuff using the Into the Woods paper and So Thankful stamp with new coordinating dies.

I am in crafty love with the new Into the Woods paper and stamps, makes me look forward to autumn.  I have always been a fan of the So Thankful stamp set because pumpkins just go hand in hand with fall.  The new leaves die cuts make cutting those detailed leaves a breeze.  So I created a tree with them!

Thanks for stopping by.

Hi!

I hope you are having as much fun with our collaboration week as Laurel and I are. I had no clue how much this would be. Today’s project is to use the colors: Kraft, white, teal/robin’s egg blue, and red.

This started out as a big challenge for me. Sometimes, I can run with color challenges, and others, I hit a wall. It finally came together in my head, and this is what I came up with:

I adore the little birds from the Lawn Fawn Making Frosty Friends stamp set, so I decided to use them. I used the snowflakes from the the same set, and the sentiment came from Bows and Holly. You might be able to see a little of the sparkle. I added some to their scarves and to the centers of the snowflakes. I pleated the ribbon and added a couple of gemstones.

I also used my 1/8 corner rounder and I love it!

Thanks for stopping in, be sure to head to Laurel’s blog to see her creation. Remember to comment for a chance to win your choice of Lawn Fawn stamp. I will draw a winner Sunday night (9:00 p.m. EST) and post it on Monday.

Have a great day and wonderful weekend. (We do have another post on Saturday which will wrap up the collaboration week).

Lawn Fawn Holiday Inspiration Week

Hi Friends,

This week is a fun week for the Lawn Fawn team. We’re doing a Holiday Inspiration week to get you motivated to start on your Christmas cards and projects. Today, Winter Fox and Winter Bunny are being featured. I have projects for both stamp sets!

First up, Winter Bunny

I wanted to make a shaker card, and I decided Winter Bunny was perfect for this card. The little beads add such a cool effect. This card will be perfect for a child.

ETA: If you want to know how to make a shaker card, the amazing Debbie Olson has an excellent tutorial here.

Next, a couple of gift card holders using Winter Fox

This sweet little fox with her cup of cocoa or coffee just made me think it would make the perfect gift card holders. I have many friends who can’t live without their Starbucks, so these are going to come in handy.

(Patterned paper in first card holder is from Collage Press, and in second card holder is My Mind’s Eye).

Let me know if you’d be interested in instructions for making any of these projects. I’m not a videographer like many of the talented bloggers out there, but I could make some step by step photo instructions for you.

Have a great day! Thanks for stopping by. If you haven’t already, head over to the Lawn Fawn blog to see the other projects and for a giveaway!

Lawn Fawn Cozy Christmas

Hi!

How are you enjoying the previews? The sets are pretty amazing aren’t they?! Today, we get to show you cards from “Cozy Christmas”. And again, this set is so unique, you aren’t going to find anything else like it.

For my card, I went with a pretty simple idea in the thought that I could potentially mass produce this pretty easily. There is cutting and coloring, but, hey, I love that part of the card making process.

I will tell you all that my card barely scratches the surface on the adorable images contained in this set. Be sure to go to the Lawn Fawn blog to see the other designers’ work and get a fuller picture of all the images and sentiments in the set. You are just going to adore them:)

Thanks for stopping by.

Hugs and blessings,

More Lawn Fawn goodness

Hi There,

This sure has been a fun release of the latest Lawn Fawn stamps. I adore these new sets, so be forewarned you will be seeing more of them on the blog in the coming days. I have some birthday invites to do, and Bake me a Cake is going to be perfect for those.

I have a card today that I made using the Harold's ABCs. A friend of mine needed a graduation card for her cousin (whose school colors were blue and gold), so Harold's ABCs made is easy to customize a card for the occasion.

Also, remember there is the EBTKS challenge going on to use nail polish! It is such a fun idea, and so many creative possibilities as you can see over at the blog. I hope you participate. There's a $30 gift card for Denami to the winner, so give it a shot!

Have a blessed day friends and thanks for stopping by.

Harold’s ABCs

Hi!

How are you liking the Lawn Fawn preview so far? These sets are so much fun, you're going to love them. Today, we’re previewing the set called “Harold’s ABC’s". As you may have guessed, it’s an alphabet set. Let me tell you that Lawn Fawn put some serious work into this set. The letter stamps are aligned perfectly so that you can just put the stamps together and the words you create will look perfect!

Here’s my card for this preview:

DSC_0001-2_edited-1

In this card, I’ve used 4 different Lawn Fawn sets of stamps (Sun and Smiley from Partly Cloudy, Fish and waves from Critters in the Sea, Heart from Just my Type Too, and the new kid on the block Harold’s ABC’s for the sentiment). Isn’t it awesome when you can mix and match your stamps? Lawn Fawn’s coordinate so well with each other, that it’s so easy to do!

Oh, see the the orange “pearls?'” Those were white until I colored them with my trusty Copic! Love that! I went to use a gem and it was too much, I wanted a pearl finish but not white, so I made my own. (First time doing this, so I'm a little excited).

And that patterned paper is from TPC studios, and it’s reversible. So these panels are from the same piece of paper.

Anyway, I hope you like! Be sure to check out the Lawn Fawn blog for all the designers’ samples, more info and perhaps a chance at a giveaway! YAY!

Lawn Fawn Critters in the Sea

Hi Friends!

I’m so excited today that I get to share the first sample for the next Lawn Fawn stamp set release. As you may have guessed, it’s called “Critters in the Sea”, and it’s loaded with fun sea life. There are so many ideas I have running through my head. I cannot wait to spend more time with these happy stamps. For today, I’m going to share this card with you:

I know, it’s a pink whale! Whoever heard of such a thing? Well, in world of card-making, it’s allowed. I struggle in my mind with thinking, um there’s no such thing as a pink whale (I am just too literal, a realist). I’m trying to branch out and just run with the inspiration and not get hung up on things like there not being any such thing as a pink whale :) The striped patterned paper really dictated the colors, so I really had no choice (hee!). I wanted the card to be bright, fun and cheery, just like these fun little sea critters. See the sentiment, in the set, it’s really a one line, but it’s so easy to just ink the words you want included for a multiple line sentiment.

Go to the Lawn Fawn blog to see the other designers’ cards. I think you’re going to be so inspired and ready to get your hands on this set of stamps! (And it’s only day one, there are two more sets to show you).

Petite Florals

Hi Friends

I'm BACK!!! YAY!! There's no place like home. I am so glad to be home. It was a long, hectic, and exhausting week. I received some questions about what I do. I work on clinical research studies for a pharmaceutical company. The amount of my travel (and where) depends on the studies I have at the time and their needs.

Now, onto the reason you stopped by... More sneak peeks at the upcoming Lawn Fawn sets. Today, we are previewing Petite Florals. I made three cards, and I have so many other ideas running through my head on what else I can make with this extremely versatile set. These cards are pretty simple due to my travel schedule. Take a look:

I still am not linked up to everything with Lawn Fawn yet. Our internet was down yesterday, so I really did not get to catch up on things. It's up right now, so I'm taking adavantage. Be sure to go to Kelly's Blog and check out the other fabulous samples!
I am so excited to check out my blog list and see what you've all been creating. There is still time to play in the EBTKS fabric challenges. There's a great prize associated, so give that a try!
