Happy New Year! We’re kicking off 2012 with the first Lawnscaping challenge. This is the one year anniversary of the challenge, so we’re having a sort of a birthday party. Our challenge this time is to create a birthday themed project, AND there’s a special gift for the followers of the Lawnscaping challenge blog.
Our challenge this time is sponsored by the awesome online store, Simon Says Stamp. They are giving away a $25 shopping certificate to the winner.
Here is my project.
I thought this was a fun winter birthday card. I used the following Lawn Fawn sets: Making Frosty Friends, Bannerific, Sophie’s Sentiments, Pa-Rum-Pa-Pa-Pum, and Hats Off to You. I made the pom-poms using some DMC floss. (I’m thinking of doing some photo step out instructions for making these if there’s interest, so please let me know if you’d like to see how I made these—they are super easy).
Head on over to the Lawnscaping blog to check out the birthday present for you! Everyone needs birthday cards, so I hope you’ll decide to play along!
Hugs and blessings
Nette
