Fun with Lawn Fawn

HI Friends

I hope you had a great weekend. I really enjoyed mine.  We had a low-key weekend which was just what was needed.

Today, I’m sharing some water-colored projects I made using Penelope’s blossoms.  I am getting so hooked on water-coloring these days. I’ll warn you now, you are likely to see more of these in the coming days.

I also used Summertime Charm and Our Friendship Grows.  These were so fun to do. I’m still getting the hang of it, but it’s fun to practice.  I used distress inks and distress markers and watercolor paper for the effect.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Hugs and blessings

Lawnscaping challenge #85

Hi Friends

Happy Monday! I hope you had a fabulous weekend (for those of us in the USA, a three day weekend!) I'm beginning a new chapter in my career today, and I'm really excited about it.

Today, we kick off the next Lawnscaping Challenge, a summer color challenge featuring turquoise, yellow, and orange.

We are fortunate to have Simon Says Stamp sponsoring this challenge. The winner will receive a $25 to shop in their online store.

I ended up making two cards for this challenge.  The Lawn Fawn Let's Polka collection works perfectly with this color challenge, and I couldn't limit myself. Here's what I came up with:

I used the fun Chit Chat stamp set and the Let's Polka Sequins to finish off the projects.  Super easy and yet bright and cheery.

Be sure to go to the Lawnscaping blog and see the rest of the design team projects and for the details on how to enter the challenge.  We sure hope you decide to play along.  These colors are so perfect for summer that the possibilities are endless.

Hugs and blessings.
